Full Professor
Giampiero Mastinu is full professor of Road and Off-road Vehicles and of Rail Vehicles at Politecnico di Milano. Appointed as Full Professor at TU Delft (2000). Full professor at Politecnico di Milano (2004). Founder of three Laboratories at the Politecnico di Milano: Safety of Transport systems, Lighteweight Construction and Durability Performance, Dynamic Driving Simulator. Coordinator of the Scientific Board of the National Mobility Cluster of Italy. Co-author of five books and of about 300 papers on International Journals. The scientific activity has focused on the design, construction, and test of machines, structures, and mechanical systems, with particular reference to ground vehicles. Winner of TRAVision 2024 for Road Mobility.
