Ivano La Paglia received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2022. Since February 2023, he is a researcher (RTDA) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is involved in the field of condition monitoring of railway infrastructure and rail vehicle dynamics. Other research activities include railway signalling, structural dynamics (with specific reference to the rolling tyre), comfort of railway and road vehicles. He is lecturer in LAB – Railway Engineering and teaching assistant in Advanced Dynamics of Mechanical Systems in the MSc in Mechanical Engineering, and teaching assistant in Meccanica per Ing. Informatica. He is author of several scientific articles published in journals or in proceedings of international congresses, and he has co-supervised several master theses.
