Belloli Marco
Full Professor
Marco Belloli holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics and is a Professor of Applied Mechanics at the Politecnico di Milano. His work focuses on wind energy and wind engineering.
His research areas include fluid-structure interaction in civil structures, vortex-induced vibrations, structural dynamics, and both numerical and experimental studies related to wind turbines.
He has served as Principal Investigator in seven European projects under the H2020 and Horizon Europe frameworks on wind energy. He is currently the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and a member of the Academic Senate at the Politecnico di Milano. Previously, he was the Scientific Director of the university’s Wind Tunnel.
