Associate Professor

Tommaso Argentini, an Associate Professor at the Politecnico di Milano's Department of Mechanical Engineering, specializes in applied mechanics and fluid-structure interactions. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2010), focusing on nonlinear aerodynamic forces on bridge decks. With extensive research in aeroelasticity, vortex-induced vibrations, and wind tunnel testing, Tommaso has worked on over 25 international long-span bridge projects. He has also taught courses on dynamics and vibrations. His work includes collaboration with leading institutions and companies, with a notable presence in wind engineering conferences and publications.
