Andrea Dal Prete, graduated in Mechatronics and Robotics from Politecnico di Milano, is a PhD candidate specializing in the field of wearable robotics. His prior research at EPFL, Switzerland, focused on lower-limb exoskeletons, developing an advanced algorithm for locomotion transition detection. Currently, his research aims to improve workplace safety through the development of intelligent back/spine exoskeletons designed to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in industrial environments. His work involves creating bio-inspired, human-compatible exoskeleton systems and integrating intelligent algorithms to enhance both exoskeleton adaptability and user-exoskeleton interaction.
