Graduated cum laude in 2013, he earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2017, focusing on planning and control for autonomous driving. He was a visiting student and visiting PhD at UC Berkeley (USA) and TU Delft (Netherlands), respectively. Starting in 2024, he has been a Tenure Track Researcher (RTT). His main research areas include the development of control logics for autonomous driving and connected ADAS systems (V2V, V2X) and the development of algorithms for the control of bio-inspired robots.
He is the author of more than 40 scientific papers published in national and international journals and conferences and has supervised over 40 master's theses. He is the instructor of the “Autonomous Vehicles” course and an assistant in several other courses, including “Applied Mechanics” and “Mechatronic Systems and Laboratory.”
